This hilltop home overlooks Fairbanks. Low-light pollution makes for great aurora views, yet the home is just 10 min from town. Live underneath a greenhouse in a cozy private home. Watch the Aurora from the hot tub, enjoy the gardens, walk the stone labyrinth. Hot running water, cozy stove fireplace. Sitting over 800 feet above Fairbanks, this home stays warmer in the coldest days of winter, staying on average 20 degrees warmer than downtown Fairbanks due to temperature inversion.
What a beautiful setting and magical place to stay. Looking forward to returning. Place was clean l, towels fresh, and bedding super comfortable for the cold nights !!! Staying warm was not an issue. Seeing the Aurora from the front door steps was magical. Walking thru the farm and enjoying the secluded wilderness, breathtaking. For our first time in Fairbanks, it seemed like we found the perfect home !!!
This has to be one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed in. Surrounded by beautiful views any way you look. Zav and Amelia were such great hosts and guides though some of the trails close to the property. The home was always at a nice temperature, the wifi was fast enough to be able to work remotely, it was perfect. Will definitely stay again!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience during our honeymoon stay at this Airbnb! Everything was perfect, from the cozy accommodations to the stunning view. It truly made our special trip even more memorable. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality!
We had such a pleasant stay at Zaw and Amelia's! The space was private and serene, and is perfect for anyone looking to be close to nature. The greenhouse and stone gardens were unique touches that made this place one of a kind. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the grocery stores, restaurants, attractions, etc. were just a short 10-20 minute drive away. There were also hiking trails nearby if we weren't interested in driving that day. Both Amelia and Zaw were accommodating and thoughtful. They were super reliable hosts, whilst not being too overbearing. Amelia was kind enough to offer tomatoes and veggies from the garden, and was very considerate when planning to tend to the greenhouse. We also really enjoyed meeting their dog, Bean, and their chickens/rooster. You can really see and feel all the care that went into this home, and it truly was a magical place. I would be happy to stay here, again!
